What sort of paper do you make the flowers with?

I use a mixture of origami paper, craft paper, high quality wrapping paper and coloured/plain A4 paper.

Can I see a sample of the materials?

Before you pay for your order I will email you with details and images of the paper and additional materials, such as buttons. If your bouquet uses paper I haven’t used before I may not be able to get a physical sample, but if I can I am happy to send it to you.

Can I choose the buttons for the centres of my flowers?

I buy buttons as a random mix, as it makes the flowers more interesting and unique. However I can provide specific buttons at an additional cost.

Do I have to have buttons at the centre of my flowers?

You don’t have to have buttons. You can have whatever you want in the centre of your flowers! You can choose to have flowers without anything in the centre or have something else like pearls or diamantes. When you get in touch let me know what you’d like and I’ll try to make it happen!

Can I meet up with you to discuss what I want?

I live in Durham, so if you’re not too far away I’m happy to meet up for a cuppa and a chat. I always like to speak to people about their order, so if you live further away we can do this on the phone or via Skype.

Can I change my mind?

If you would like to make a change to your order contact me as soon as possible. If I have already ordered specific materials for your order there may be a small extra charge. If I have started making your order I may be unable to make changes, but I will always try to help you if I can.

Can I cancel my order?

How long does it take to make a bouquet?

On average it takes an hour to prepare the materials, then about one hour to make 5 flowers, plus an hour or so at the end to put it all together. Embroidering a flower (five petals) takes about 30 minutes. A simple small bouquet would take about 4-6 hours, but a large bouquet with lots of detail would take a couple of days!

Where do you make the flowers?

I make the flowers in my (smoke free & pet free) home.

Unfortunately not. I use PayPal because it’s secure and easy to use.  You can find out more information on the PayPal website and or watch a short video.

How much do you charge for delivery?

I charge £5 for single bouquets and £3 for small orders of individual flowers, this is already included in the price in Options & Prices (PDF). All orders are sent by Recorded Delivery. How long do you take to deliver?

There is an estimated 4-5 weeks between payment and delivery as I may have to specially order paper or other supplies for your bouquet. I will give you an estimated delivery date, which is the latest date your order will be delivered.

Can you deliver more quickly?

If I can complete your order more than a week before the expected delivery date I’ll let you know so you can decide if you would like it delivered sooner. I understand that if the flowers are for an event you may prefer for me to look after them until you need them.

Can I order a few months in advance to confirm my delivery date?

Yes. As I can only complete a few orders a month you can pay a 25% non-refundable deposit up to six months in advance to confirm your delivery date. Six weeks before the delivery date I’ll check if there are any changes to your order and invoice you for the remaining amount.
